Old Crane Photos - What Treasures! These photos of the first coal-fired steam-powered Speedcrane (the great-granddaddy of the Manitowoc) recently came across our desk - and they were too good not to share!

The document also contains a letter from September 1922.
In it, a satisfied customer claims, "With one man on the Crane and one in the car, we are unloading on average 500 yards of material in ten hours."

These photos were reproduced from a promotional booklet (compiled in the 1920's) for the Moore Speedcrane, the forerunner of the modern Manitowac crane.
